A fetish is defined, as you well say, Karina, as a need for a specific stimulus in order to achieve sexual gratification. Without this stimulus it is impossible for the person to be satisfied sexually. But there is another aspect that defines a fetish, and that is the fact that the object of the fetish is an INANIMATE OBJECT. in other words for example shoes, or leather, or women’s underware etc. For this reason people who like feet, get turned on by feet etc. Should not be called fetishises as feet are part of the body and not inanimate objects. You cannot have a fetish about any part of the body, you can get turned on by ears, or legs, or feet and this is not defined as a fetish in English according to the psychologists definition, OK? So
What is the correct definition for someone who gets turned on by feet? Or for that reason any other part of the body. Well apart from “normal”. the psychologists would say that a person who really gets turned on by feet would be described as having a “parafila”
